Attended Orientation Basic Package Day 1 yesterday. Included in this shrink-ed package are the academic talks and very short get-to-know-each-other sessions.

Got to know another friend. ^^ This kinda feels like playing The Sims 2. =X

The academic talks were more or less boring. There were some technical stuff here and there which i don't understand why would they be taught to us now (eg. mapping laptops to printers in school, etc). I believe we'd go find out when we need it.

Also, i find that the flow of the Basic package program is not very efficient. In fact i think it's pretty time-wasting as the meet-up time was set at 1pm but the seniors only managed to get everyone settled-down and start the actual program by 2pm. And many parts of the the talks presented consist of information which i personally thought might be better if it were to be conveyed sometime after we've started our classes.

Today's flag day and we have a choice of showing up or not. So i picked not. =X I hate flag days and so do majority of the freshmen, it seems.

So no school today but i've 2 incoming parcels i've to pick up from the post office. It's gonna be a busy day and here i was thinking that i might be able to rest for the day. =/ But no work no income~

Now i can only put in my best effort and pray hard that i can cope with both school and blogshop. >.<
